As soon as I left my Christian school I started to live a carnel life forgetting everything I was taught about God, until one day I went through a hard time and I remember to pray so I did and ever since that day I’ve been walking with God ever since.. I didn’t know I openly allowed a curse when I decided to push God aside to live a carnel life but it all makes sense now… God didn’t have to forgive me but he did and for that will I always be grateful of God’s mercy.. Thank you for preaching this true message. This was my life for the past 24 years because I had an assignment overseas a long time ago that I never fulfilled because I was afraid of what a family member would think. I didn't realize why nothing was working in my life until about a year ago when God spoke to me to come out of the world and come back to my first love. He showed me that my life had been steeped in idolatry and I had been masturbating behind closed doors for years not realizing that that was sexual sin and an open door for demons. Now I have gone through some deliverance sessions and am trying my best to remain surrendered to God. I went through some really hard knocks because I was doing what I wanted and it scared me which is good because that is when you realize how serious "working out your salvation with fear and trembling" really is. I am praying to remain on the narrow road now and to remain in a place of humility with God because pride was my serious downfall, too. 😞
