I didn't catch when he said a man and man or woman and a woman at first. Think he was just covering his whole audience. Because as he goes on he of course mentions Adam and Eve being when a man and a woman. That's what God created it for. To be fruitful and multiply, etc.

How can this guy say that marriage is about family and being more like Jesus while starting off saying contradictory statements like "depending on where you're at..." and "the ongoing re-defining of marriage."

•Marriage was created by God
•God is the only one who marries people (it's not done by people with lisences) [Mk 10:9]
•God is perfect and unchanging [Mal 3:6]
•Marriage was designed to make us more like Christ [Eph 5:22-32]
•Marriage was designed to produce more people [Gen 1:28]
•Jesus clearly shows that even thousands of years after its establishment, that marriage is never re-defined because it is made by God and any redefinition of marriage makes it no longer a marriage by the unchanging solid definitive standard that God gives it. [Matt 19:7-9/Mark 10:2-5]
•God shows that even when he works miracles to the fruitful aspect, he does it within approved marriages [Gen 21:2, Lk 1:13, Lk 1:26-28]
•And "depending on where you're at" God's standard applies. If you're in a state of complete non-existence, then it does not apply, but if you exist at all, you're under His standard.

Therefore there is no such thing as gay marriage, they are fornicators just like any people having sex outside of marriage and all of them are equally destined for the tragic end of hellfire apart from Christ. We are called to repent, and calling evil good does not lead people to repentance that leads to salvation found in our Lord, but it instead leads lost souls that would realize their dire state, in complete delusion as they walk blindly into damnation.

I don't care if someone wants to believe that God isn't real, His laws don't matter, and we are free from any moral obligations that we don't like. If they're choosing that path, it's their choice to make. I hate when "Christians" warp God's law into something more comfortable thinking that they're being inclusive and drawing people into the kingdom when in reality they're simply damning themselves and others. [Matt 5:19]

If you're gay and are reading this, I hope that you feel convicted enough to change so that you might be included in God's kingdom. I don't say these things to make you out to be a bad person, because I too am a sinner who is no better off than any other sinner apart from Christ. I say these things because I love you and care about you. I understand the love you have for your partner(s), I loved mine too, but God calls us to something greater and He is first. [Lk 14:26] It's a hard teaching, but a true one. Our love for God needs be so strong that our love for others looks like hate in comparison (meaning we love them the same, but love God impossibly more). If anyone loves something more than God, then they will likely choose it over Him in the end, so count the cost, but know the real cost before deciding whether to enter the Kingdom or not because fornicators, adulterers, idolaters, liars, thieves and murderers will not be there. I don't love you as much as God does, but we both want you to be in Heaven, and even though it's impossible on our own, with God all things are possible.

Chapesmom... He wasn't advocating Gay marriage. He was pointing out and areas where people are often confused about what real marriage is. And that's the beauty of this video, without starting a riot by shouting "Gay Marriage Wrong!!!" He made the point very clear. Friendship, gardening, sex, procreation... You can't be fruitful and multiply in a homosexual relationship. I'll save the anatomy lesson for a different post.

Most of us get married to be happy but what we need to do is get married to be more like jesus :)

I am so chocked because people actually think that going out with the person of the same sex is a sin. well let me tell u that is it BULLSHIT. Because being gay or lesbian isn't just about dating someone of the same sex, IT IS MORE THAN THAT. I am not a lesbian or gay but IT IS NOT A SIN. I have a friend and she's a lesbian because her dad was so violant with her and because she was traumatized when she was younger...well now she hates man and that is why she became a lesbian so u CAN NOT judge a person like that just because they are gay or lesbian because u DONT KNOW THEIR PAST. U don't know what happened when they were young that result to them being lesbian or gay
