I'm so upset because a lady at a local gas station was using a Bitcoin atm.

I was on my way to work and had limited time, but i asked her if the person on the phone asked her to come to this atm. She said yes, that it was for "Internet verification".

I explained to her it was a common scam, and she insisted that she "typed the wrong amount and has to send some back". I pleaded with her to call her bank and verify that she didn't actually receive any money and didn't need to "send" any back.

She didn't really seem to believe me. It was so frustrating. 🥺
