Keep going on.
As to reduplicating words they just follow the child brain evolution in learning a language which in fact Is called lallation ( double la la).
Dictionary don 't give rules. They just consider a word when it has come of use.
Many new words are invented but not taken into use and don 't find a place in a dictionary.
