Even a toy has the brand name and where it’s made. Every package should have that; especially food!

Tomi is 110% correct. When are the people going to get their heads out of their hind parts and demand 90% of everything sold in this country be made, grown or produced here? By American, to hell with enriching other counties while ours's suffers.

Who buys meat from Amazon? You’re asking for trouble

There is no problem that the government can't make worse. My folks patronized a small butcher shop.

When every clothing, toy, etc has labels of where it’s from, why shouldn’t our food? I personally would prefer to pay more and have American products and American grown food than to pay less and have foreign made products and foreign grown food.

Meat should be sold locally only in my opinion.. and if it isn’t, it should be known from which it came from.

Remember not long ago the idiots said they wanted to get rid of cows

Also, the meat is different. It's tough and doesn't have the flavor it use to. I've been saying that for alot of years now. I want American beef/meat!!!!

I'm more concerned about WHAT'S IN THE MEAT???? Amazon is selling meat from other countries.

I've noticed that instead of saying where a product is made, the label will say who it is distributed by. Nine times out of ten, if a label does this then the product is made in China. They do this specifically to keep you from boycotting it or maybe to dodge tariffs. There are no other reasons to hide it.

Regulatealatetions will just cost more money .Just because it is packaged in the states does not mean it is a product of the USA .

Price of beef at the store has skyrocketed... Ranchers aren't getting more for their cattle... Do a story on that.

Pay attention to who is against it… because those are the bad guys…
There is no reason if the cows are being sold for the cheapest price in history… but we the consumers are also paying the highest consumer price then where’s the profits going… the packagers.
Break up the monopoly

Got it. Just have the government bureaucrats create more regulation and useless government jobs. That usually works.

Remember at the start of cv19 they ordered all the ranchers to slaughter all the beef and dump it? I saw one rancher on YouTube say he had to dump over 500, 000 head of cattle at the same time a huge ship full of cattle was in port from a different country. Tell me why they would do that??

Hummm. Does anyone remember that, in the recent past, cattle were being destroyed? Between that and the Brandon inflation, we have high meat costs. The labeling of meat location may be good for the meat producers and explain the reason behind tasteless meat coming out of the grocery store, but won't change the price. My family has returned to the quality that I remember as a child from buying directly from the source.
