I landed mine like that on your final landing and both gear strut covers popped off. Almost no glue on them so if anyone gets this just check them. I used CA and got them glued back on and no issues now.

For flaps while flying, you need flight modes, can set Elevator to flaps while in the air. Stops you from guessing what you might need on the ground
