The Street Truck Back! The 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo

With the 2025 refresh, Ford has launched the Maverick Lobo which is a road-tuned version of the brand's compact pickup. With a sport tuned suspension, lower ride height, twin-clutch 7-speed transmission, and enhanced torque vectoring, the Maverick Lobo hopes to be the modern day equivalent to sport compact pickups from 30 years ago.

Wheres is the beef it should be atleast 300 horsepower with the 2.3 then we have something talk about. It looks like a half hearted sport truck effort it has no heart. The Lobo is a all show and no go. Ford really could have came out with something really special.

Lest we forget it was gov't regulation and corporate profit margins on full size trucks that forced compact trucks off the market 20 yrs ago.

Except it's nowhere near being a "compact". It's the size of a Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300 FFS.
