Scarce Singapore Periwinkle one dollar coins ... Singapore 🇸🇬 1994-2007 uncirculated coin sets

Pray for peace in Ukraine 🇺🇦🕊🇺🇦 There were many coin sets since Singapore's independence and in this video, we will examine the sets issued from 1994 to 2007. Unlike previous sets, these were themed after the lunar new year celebrations, featuring folders with designs of the new year and lunar animals. Many had artwork of prosperity and fortune, and all were coloured in red and gold.

This video will focus on the Singapore $1 Periwinkle and $5 Vanda Miss Joaquim coins. The former was issued for circulation during that period while the latter was only issued with the sets. I will also discuss in detail the highly desirable 1996, 2005 and 2007 coin sets where the $1 coin was only issued with the sets. For collectors of the coin, these sets are the ones to acquire should they want to collect all the periwinkle coins that had been minted.

I had made references to some of the coin sets in previous video but this will be the first time where i will be showing you briefly all the sets in my collection. They are widely available here in Singapore and are still fairly affordable. I do hope those who collects Singapore coinage will find the information provided useful.
