I am pretty much a supporter of great India... But let's get some perspective here

Was Nehru a true statesman like 'Lee Kuan of Singapore'. Read on ...

In a country which has produced some of the best CEOs of the world, did Nehru promote his daughter cause he had the interest of the nation. Was there no one else at that point who qualified to lead India to excellence. Was this the nehruvian socio secular anti-dynasty policy/decision or was this his initiative with personal interest.

Did Nehru aspire to be known as 'Chacha' like Gandhi was known as Bappu of the nation.

Was his decision to approach UN at a point when the army was successfully pushing the enemy off our soil a part of his chacha image. This has caused india trillion in safeguarding the LoC

Would he have married his daughter to a Sharma or kapoor or a ranga Swamy and or did he want the Gandhi tag for his daughter. And was that foresight in the interest of the nation?

Did his policy on Kashmir and China lack foresight

Was he the only freedom fighter of india, or did his successors do a dis-service by naming most institutions after him and statutes all over (over indulgence to portray it was a one-man show)

He gave India IITs and IISc ... Very good and it caters to .00005 percent of India's population... Was it with a foresight that 80 percent indians remain illiterate (though states like Bengal and Kerala could attain high percentage of literacy.

Was it easier to bring communal harmony then with state policy based on foresight, or is it easier now
Why is it difficult now? Does it have anything to do policy then

Like Gandhi said 'you have to be the change that You wish to see in the world'
When can we call a spade a spade and move on

Congress party grew in wealth and power, and is an uncontented national party, and their coffers run deeper than India's budget.

Today priyanka Gandhi promises smart phone to girls if brought to power...
Not corruption free, accountable govt.

So where is the common man in between all this... And that is the joke

How many of you believe 'India has enough to be rich but not rich enough to be corrupt' and this is the imbalance we r seeing today.

Enough root cause analysis on this... Nehru is gone... He did what he thought was best for personal interest... We don't have to follow him, we need to learn from what he did and make better policies/politicians.
We need to shake this emotional dependence on previous politicians and move ... Move
