They didn't tour Ultra. Dave Gahan: "This was a strange moment for me. I didn't feel particularly confident during the Ultra shoot and had some difficult moments during it. In the middle we stopped completely and I had to go to a treatment place to get treated. [...] We didn't tour that album, thank God. I think [Martin] would have died. At that time I was struggling just to sing. I couldn't stand in front of a microphone for more than 10 minutes without literally falling to the ground, I was so weak."
