Been There. Done That. I was in a rest stop bathroom with 20 people thinking "I'm gonna die in this bathroom w/20 strangers!", as we heard the roof rip off & glass break! Thank you, God, we all survived! But the rest of the building & car ports didn't. Funny part was no cars were severely damaged & some still had gas nozzles in their gas tanks! And no gas machines were damaged, either. I HATE tornadoes! 😱

We need to make storm shelters mandatory with homes and mobile home insulation like we make car insurance a must have

That first video reminds me of the video I saw of people taking shelter inside of a gas station in Joplin before it got destroyed by an EF5 tornado. Everyone in the gas station survived. Absolutely chilling.

My niece was caught in a gas station in Dallas area during the tornado outbreak. The store's windows were shattered and patrons were holed up in the walk in fridge/freezer. Also several inches of water inside the store. Luckily, no one was injured.

My most sincere prayers for Texas, and Oklahoma residents. I was born, and lived in Oklahoma City for 37 years. I understand intimately the dangers, and fears of tornadic weather...
Again, may the hands of God keep the wonderful, and hard working people of Texas, and Oklahoma safe from any more horrific storms! Both States have already endured more catastrophic tornadic activity than any 5 year period that I lived in OKC..
I have 3 living Grandkids who still live in Oklahoma. They are the last of my family left alive, and I freak out every time I hear about bad weather!! Just came back from OKC where I experienced a 5.6 Earthquake...
I live in Florida, and Hurricanes are what I contend with these days but, you always have enough time to get out of the way!!

If they had scattered instead of huddling together these folks may not have made it out alive. Stay together, batten down the hatches, remember to breathe, hold tight, we are always stronger together. Together, we will weather the storm.

Glad everyone was okay. Sad part is…I was watching it live on radar as it developed several miles/minutes away, well before it made it to this store.

Glad everybody is okay. Tornadoes sure are deadly and you definitely don’t want to be caught in their wrath. ❤🙏🏻
