I needed to add some new tools to my setup for future BGA soldering and to make some of the current work easier.

Yeah, I kept saying 'desolder station' instead of 'hot air' ;)

Very impressed with what you get for the little amount I paid.
Especially when compared to the €150 costing Weller WE1010 which is very bad quality.

And in contrast to the Weller, the Yotec 967 does indeed have a fuse!

Yihua looks excatly the same as my Circuit Specialist preheater. I find it very useful for PCBs with huge ground planes.

What would be your recommended temperature to solder?

Emmm you don't trust the external wire, but full faith of internal wiring. If you can't trust one thing you can't trust the entire thing, made by same person.
