New 2021 Sony Xperia Tablet, Smartwatch or Pro 2? WHAT IS the next Xperia?

Am I nuts or is a 21 x 9 4k HDR OLED XPERIA Tablet the perfect device for Sony to reveal to us on the 26th October 2021? Is 21 x 9 a weird aspect ratio for a tablet....or amazing?

If Sony isn't going to give us a tablet, what else could it be? Maybe the Xperia Pro 2? A new smartwatch? Maybe an L4 replacement - perhaps something similar to the Xperia Ace II? (available in Japan through Docomo)
If not any of those, could Sony be considering a folding phone? A gaming phone maybe? If Sony can create the Vision S concept car to such a high level of detail and in pretty much complete secrecy then anything is possible!

In this video I talk about the likely options and the one I most want: A new Sony Xperia Tablet. It has been a looooong time since the Xperia Z4 Tablet (that was released in early 2015!!)

I still have my Z4 tablet, it was insanely ahead of its time. Absolutely loved it, so slim light and 2K display with 120% srgb colour space and great battery life. ♥

I'm very happy that I've found this channel. After 12 years of being an iPhone user, I've finally decided that enough is enough and I'm making the jump to the Sony Xperia 1 III this week... I'm a little nervous but also very excited. I've always been a Sony fan but I'm ready to jump all in with their products.

Both a Watch & Tablet are long overdue. I never got my hands on a Xperia Tab, sadly, as I had a Google Nexus 7, but I would kill for a new Xperia tablet. May be not 21:9, that's okay on a mobile handset, but it looks odd for a tablet, in my opinion. Sony would be mad to not get back to making tablets again, if they want to play with the big boys and take a market share from Crapple & Samdung then an Xperia line up of a tablet, phone and smartwatch is the way to go.

I personally think they are going to launch an Ultra device, but I could easily see them launching a smartwatch.

I've been rocking the Xperia Z3 tablet for years! And it's still going strong! I like the Z3 tablet because it was the last Xperia tablet that was rootable without having to unlock the bootloader.

I 100% agree I would love to buy a newer model Xperia tablet.

Imagine a 4K OLED tablet through. The thin bezels and overall thickness on that device would be absolutely surreal. You’d have to see and use it in hand to fully experience such a joy.
