Thank God SRT has the Stones to keep production of Americas True unapologetic, ballzz to the wall, Naturally Aspirated Sports car! It's worth every damn dime it costs! I see 5 Vettes a day! I might, might! See 3 Vipers in a year.

I've always liked the viper over the corvette camaro and charger. Mustang has a place in my heart though.

I bet these cars are actually comfortable and ride smooth. Most car reviews say otherwise, as if a viper a suppose to run like an Altima or something.

0-60 in 2.9 sec back in 2013 is a massive achievement ! That's the 720s did in 2019 !

Had a friend just pick up one of these for 75k. Black on black with black rims. Pretty awesome to drive with the 6 speed manual. I'm in my 50s and had no problem getting in and no I'm not a fat person. Another friend that was with me almost burned his leg because he was wearing shorts and forgot about were the exhaust is. lol

Still such an awesome car. It's not as fast as the Z06, but I can't help but like the Viper more.

A Hellcat HEMI a 392 HEMI or a 5.7 to cut the cost and to make it more affordable maybe get a new ferrari sourced V10 for hardcore racers and a 8 speed auto

If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. This is best implied to you. I envy you Steve. Best wishes and keep up the great work.

Now that was a good Vid....I am going back and forth on a Viper or Z06...This helps...I see so many Corvettes in Dallas it is ridicules.... Hardly ever see a Viper...and when you do it is like ....Wow...!!!

It is a pity they never managed to tame it's heat and comfort issues. It could also really have used paddle shifters so you didn't have to heel toe in a rocket. For what it is the Corvette still does it's job with more civility and an easier to live with price tag.

It looks like the Batmobile. Is Robin standard or an option on this model.

i want this car so badly, but alas i am 6'7'' and it definitely seems like i wouldn't even be able to see out the windshield without constantly sloping my back over the steering wheel. but that's what's so cool about the viper. it's like how italian cars used to be: you have to put up with histrionics in order to enjoy owning and driving one. weird that in today's automotive market, a manual transmission counts as being part of "histrionics" though.

I feel if the viper came in an 8-speed version like the new charger hellcat, they would sell more.

dude i love the viper its my dream car, but im sure they could down on the price, i mean compare this to a z06, with the same money you could get the z06 out there

How tall is Steve Hammes and are there any owners that see this as a good daily driver when the seats are swapped out..

I think it would be cool if they had a option that you could order the viper with the 6.2L v8 out of the Hell cats. 8 speed auto/ or 6 speed Manuel. They could call it the Viper Hell snake edition

Okay, my point is this.  I know it's been a year and the 2015 is available (technically), but given the fact that when it's all said and done, this is (when fully loaded) going to be a 140k Dodge.  Now, if one is really going for the best "pure driver's car", do you think that the viper would be a better choice than say an equally priced Porsche GT3?
Just wondering.
(Hoping for Steve's thoughts)
