ASICS is a well known brand in the world of shoes, especially sports related shoes. So I'll be looking closely at three of their premium indoor court shoes, the Court Control FF3, Blast FF3 and the Blade FF, and see if they are good for badminton. Have you tried Asics shoes for badminton before?

Your Observation is spot on. It is slippery in dusty condition. But it is still my favorite shoes.

I use asics's gel rocket 10 and it feels amazing for badminton, the cushion and stability is good at it's price point

I'm using Gel Rocket 11 for the past 6 months on a rubber court. No problems so far. The Gel is very useful for people with knee problem as it absorbs a lot of impact. Bought it for US$55 which I think is reasonable for a good quality shoe.

Having used the asics court control FF 2 for a few years, I can say it's a solid shoe. I've also used Yonex shoes, but for me, ASICS shoes last longer. Even with my habit of dragging my left foot, the ASICS are holding up well.

Something worth mentioning (for UK viewers at least) is that Asics offer a 90-day trial if you sign up as a member (which is free). I.e. you can try these shoes for 90 days and still return them if you're not happy. I've recently bought the Beyond FF for badminton and a GR9 for tennis. I can't name any other brand who offers a similar option with most, if not all, requiring them to be unused if you want to return.

I personally have been wearing yonex shoes for as long as i remember, many of my friends wear asics and most of them have the same issue with slipping around as we often play in multi purpose halls that are not really in the cleanest conditions, cleaning the outsole before every game kind of works but im sure there is a more permanent solution

I'm using Blast FF 3 currently and it's the best shoes for badminton by far. I have used Yonex and Victor high-end shoes, none of them as comfortable, as sturdy as this. A new level of confidence around court for me. No slippery problem for me btw.

Using Asic's Beyond FF currently, way better stability, cushioning and torsional support compared to Mizuno wave claw and wave pro and yonex 65z I was using previously, and the uppers never wore a hole around the area where you drag your feet unlike the mizuno and yonex which shows damage after first 2 sessions. Downside is they're higher, so doesn't feel as agile as the wave claw and 65z

i own four pairs of asics shoes across different models, and i agree with you on the slippery issue. even with a gummi out sole model, it still get more slippery than expected in dirty multifunction halls

I have tried many high-end badminton shoe brands, such as Yonex, Li Ning, Victor, Apacs, Felet, and Mizuno etc. But when I first tried Asics, my man, there was no turning back

Planning on reviewing Mizuno Shoes? They are basically Asics but with a bit of badminton.

I wear Asics Netburner Ballistic FF. They are quite good, even though they might be slippy. Unfortunately, it’s all I can get since I wear a EUR size 49…

Been using Asics and it has been great. It's gel series are phenomenal in gripping. Used yonex but comfort and toe breaks were less better compared to my Asics.

As always a great video but I won't change from Yonex Shoes - how to trust a brand which is not part of this sport and have no expierence what we need as player on the court such as YONEX, Victor or Li Ning that's my opinion on this.

I researched on indoor shoes and found out that Asics knowingly makes with a bit low grip so players can slide a bit in a gliding motion, which makes them a bit faster.

I am looking forward to see some budget rackets reviews 😍

i've used Blade FF for around 5 months and it's been great for me. i feel like they sacrifice some tech and additional comfort/support for lightness, and i personally really like playing with lighter shoes. they can be slippery at times however, so once these are done i'm probably gonna go for those lightweight Yonex shoes that you recommend as my next choice.
