This move will cause some short term pain for these companies, but it will also help China's tech in the medium and long term immensely. Prediction is China leaps forward and American firms market share will plummet, hopefully for the Americans nominal production can be maintained. I believe that American production in this industry will collapse without massive government support by the end of the decade.

How do u suspect china will retaliate. Shouldn't the US just liberate hong kong and get it over with before it starts costing millions of lives.... All this drawn out process shows reluctance to follow thru... China government has caused the entire worlds economy to start crumbling especially the owner operators who are essential to everyday life other than china in each country .
Please report on this question/ statement. Im just a citizen who sees whats going on out here on the ground in front of me . the germ will go around despite total and complete shut down it just will take longer. So please help me understand why the Chinese can shut down the world and our governments are going along enforcing it. Does china own us all?
