Thats pretty great on singed and mordekaiser, it used to be a bit meme build because you had to sell the masks later, but now that there are 3 items that use haunting guise, you can do it on any champ that builds the three items. It is legitimately good on morde and insane on singed.

Which is also a reason that Heartsteel is actually a decent item on Akali. She doesn't really need stats to deal damage

There was a nuclear bomb Teemo build with stacking masks at some point but the bug got nerfed/removed

That makes it multiplicative, not cumulative

I did this on Udyr! Liandrie's, Riftmaker and full masks gives you quite a ton

i used to do this kinda. i built the mask items and shojins for the percent increase. you get quite tanky and you have decent damage but being a glasscannon is way more fun

It's a bad build unless you have absolutely terrible scalings / insane base damage. For example at 4 ranks in Q, akali has 60% AP, 120 base damage. 3 guise is 174 damage x 1.19 = 207 damage. For 50 gp more, Riftmaker + Blasting Wand is 193.2 damage x 1.08 = 208 damage, and you get omnivamp and cdr.

The only time I remember seeing this was Baus when he popularized building 3 different Chain Vests as Rammus top while later building into Thornmail, Dead Man’s Plate, etc.

Been abusing it recently with mordekaiser as his passive gets boosted. It is so insane that i actually **seem** to benefit more maxing e first for the pen over q for the damage because his passive is so strong.

i think rushing a lot of ap on akali is even better, i mean you go shadow flame first item, you have a build path with a lot of ap and once you have your item the power spike is insane, it also work really great on kennen
