Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Wednesday issued a clarification over his "pagal PM" remark for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he was simply “echoing the sentiments of the public and was voicing what the public was reacting already over the withdrawal of Rs 2000 notes”.
The West Bengal Congress president got abusive while speaking on the issue of the Rs 2000 note. He said, "...he is not Modi but pagla Modi. People called him 'pagla Modi'..."
