I was in Venice in September, and I remember the store fronts, the beautifully curated macchiere, all of it seems so familiar, and makes me wish I could be there for this beautiful pageant.

Le certificat baptismal pour être un vrai Vénitien, c'est d'abord d'être un vrai rameur.
Cette remontée des barques vers le Rialto est la vérité intemporelle venue du fond des âges de cette chère et si aimée Venise.
Que de souvenirs!
La petite brume sur la Piazza vue d'une croisée du Correr, c'est aussi un délice rare de contemplation du temps carnavalesque, on se remémore inévitablement les Bellini, Canaletto, etc.

Je retiens aussi l'accordage du Steinway dans le portego du Mocenigo pour le moment musical du soir. Juste à côté des archives poussiéreuses de plus de six siècles de cette illustre famille de doges.
Et bien évidemment, cette incroyable Fenice, double coloré du Philharmonique de Vienne, vue détruite sous les bâches, mais vue entièrement reconstruite dans sa splendeur qui caractérise le trait principal de la Vénus des Eaux.

Will we see people in celebrate costume and mask from the opening ceremony? Or better to come after few days from opening . I want to see strange costumes in streets what is the best days i am planning for 2 days only
