-1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Tsp Ginger Powder
Beef Shawarma Marinade
- 800g Lean Sirloin Beef cut into thin strips
- 2 servings Shawarma Spice Mix
- 2 Tsp Olive Oil
- 1 Whole Lemon Juiced
- 20g Light Butter (for cooking)
Mac n Cheese
- 240g Uncooked Macaroni / 560g Cooked Weight
- 1 Serving Shawarma Spice Mix
- 250ml Light Evaporated Milk (Brand: Sainsbury’s)
- 150g Light Cream Cheese (Brand: Philadelphia)
- 40g Light Cheddar
- 60ml Pasta Water
Onion Mix
- 2 Large Red Onions thinly sliced
- Big Handful Fresh Parsley Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Sumac Powder
- 1 Lemon Juiced

Important Cooking Notes
- Slice the beef very thinly, this allows the beef to cook quickly and remain tender while absorbing a lot of flavour from the spices
- Cook the beef in light butter or cooking spray for 1-2 mins on high heat, mix it well then add a little butter and parsley
- Make the sumac onions in batches and store in fridge for other meals
- When making the mac sauce, add the spices in the residue oil from the beef, toast for 1-2 mins before adding the milk
- Let the sauce bubble then lower the heat
- Easily reheat this in a pan on low heat or microwave for a 5mins
