hi Jack, just a quick question - is it required to state if the test is one or two-tailed? and also the significance level too. thanks in advance, love the videos

I understand how the Binomial values are calculated but does anyone know how the values for the PMCC are calculated in the tables? Or were they just designed at random?

Hi, thanks for the video but I'm a tad confused because this contradicts what I've learned already. In an example solution, the correlation coefficient was given as 0.00218, and the significance level was 5% (so 2.5% because it was a two-tailed test). The solution said because 0.00218<0.025, there is significant evidence to reject the null hypothesis. Any ideas why the solution said this? Thanks

If we are given the critical value, is there no other use for n ?

I’m currently doing a question where its asking a coin is tossed 20 times and they are recording the number of heads received and the person suspects he is getting more heads than tails.. With a 5% significance Level they asked us to find H the Humber of heads received. How would you go about doing this? They suysoect it is unfair if more heads is received.
