Metsovo, Greece
Metsovo sits on top of the Pindus mountain range in Epirus. The vlachs also known as aromanians call this place home.
Metsovo is a Greek village with a ski resort near it for winter fun and in the summer its elevation provides a cool breeze to relax at. For some this may be the best mountain village in Epirus but maybe even in Greece.
During a trip to Greece recently, I had the opportunity to visit this magical place and capture some footage near the center of the town.
