Bantock: 'My luve is like a red, red rose' from Lockdown

Показать описание
Missing my friends from Renaissance Men today, so I pulled out a couple of partsongs that we've done on the "On this Island" program around town including at Late Night at Emmanuel, Old South Church, and St. Mary's of Newton. This is Sir Granville Bantock's take on "My luve is like a red, red rose" and yes, it is spelled that way because the text is by Robert Burns, the unofficial national poet of Scotland and he lived in the late 18th century when spelling was still a bit more fluid than it is now. Tenor and bass recorders played by the Royal Street Recorder Consort.
