Sidon was originally a light grey color, but he didn’t stand out because of the colors in Zora’s domain, so they changed his color to match Mipha.

Going off of the Kakariko Village names, Zora's Domain has something very similar: Quite a few of the npc's have names based off of some musical term.
Bazz - Bass
Keye - Key (Signature)
Cleff - Clef
(Just to give a few)

As for Mipha and Sidon, their names are based off of Solfege (do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do). And their themes are written in their respective notes. Give it a listen!


For Mipha's theme: The notes (if sung in Solfege) will say "mi-fa" a.k.a Mipha.
For Sidon's theme: The notes (if sung in Solfege) will say "ti-do". This might sound weird, but for the Japanese version of Solfege, the "ti" is actually "si" so it'll say "si-do".

And of course, King Dorephan's name (part of it) comes from "do-re".

Im glad they tried aliens, because nobody would think it would work in a zelda game on a large scale. (even the visitors in MM aren't confirmed to be aliens and are based on a cryptid) Really shows how dedicated they were to breaking conventions and trying things to see what did and didn't work.

Yeah, there's an area near the north part of the huge lava lake in eldin where there’s a bunch of rusty weapons, and a rockterok nearby, seemingly made to test its cleaning ability.

If you jump off a high place while holding a weapon as if you’re about to throw it, and then switch to having no weapons a bit before you hit the ground, you can cancel your fall damage, this is used in a lot of speed runs and is really easy
