In my opinion this movie was well written as a screen play, had great directing/acting, great character development and appropriate humor (not a comedy). Most will care about the main character and connect with her. Even has some, "Didn't see that coming" moments. Great from beginning to end. No slow parts and tension filled. Very creative and original.

This movie was great!!!  I loved it and have watched it multiple times.  I don't know, it just really struck a chord with me.  Mario Bello was SUBERB, and should've gotten acting nominations or awards for her work in this.  Joan Jett did good work as an actress in this, too. She had a small but standout role, and she gave a very appealing performance.

Actually, this movie is based on one of the four stories in  his book which is Full Dark, No stars. Great Book! I wish they adapted the first story in the book which is 1922. Gruesome shit and all.

In an age of super fast technology, you would think that the satellites hovering up above would grant us a signal anywhere on the planet!! This is a great movie after all....yet, whatever happened to "The Good Samaritan" in us as a human species!?! As a man....I am appalled, and I apologize for it, but I can't help who I am....I was not expecting for this guy to use boards with nails in it to trap women who happen to venture through that place. It sickens me that so many (men) would hate women (whom I adore) enough to exert power & control over them. The evil man in this movie is one of the reasons that many females (of various age groups) seem to possess a lack of trust, and an element of fear of us. I speak for all of the gentlemen in this world....the ones that have or has had Mothers, Aunts, Sisters, Nieces, and Cousins that we care for and will even kill or die for!!! No one should have to suffer like this, please forgive us ladies.

Good movie. Basically a milder, more mainstream version of the more gut-wrenching "I Spit on Your Grave" film series, given a Stephen KIng treatment.
The film even affirms the right to keep and bear arms as protection against rape.
Five stars out of five for moral message.
Four stars out of five for execution.

I don't like that movie. Because Maria Bello was nearly killed for being sexually assaulted by an mean character who looks like Bray Wyatt! Do you get shocked to learn that the police officer is killed for being sexually assaulted as revenge for hurting that security guard?
