Since its inception in 2008, The BPM Festival - “Bartenders, Promoters, Managers” - has become a must-go-to event for all dance music lovers; and the best excuse ever for a Caribbean holiday! This year’s festival took place on January 8-17 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and it was 10 days of (mostly) sun and quality music from some of the finest in the industry.
Whilst he's no stranger to Mexican shores, 2016 saw Hot Since 82 host his own BPM showcase, bringing his record label Knee Deep in Sound to the festival for the first time.
Although heavy rain hit the usually sunshine filled Mexico, the show must go on! A swift change in plan, set-times and venue saw Knee Deep in Sound join forces with Anja Schneider's Mobilee Records label - also victims of a water-logged locale - and the all-star line-up kept heads and hands up high and raving at favoured festival beach club, Blue Parrot.
