So far I’ve just been sticking small amounts of money into companies I’m sure will continue to exist for the next five years and if the stocks do well, I hold on. If not, I reinvest the bad ones into the good ones so I can get higher gains. I gained about $9.5k from putting in $4k into NVIDIA earlier this year so that was pretty nice.

The reason Tesla FSD is lagging is because they don’t use lidar. If they added lidar they would achieve FSD

I heard Tesla ditched LIDAR awhile back because they felt it was unworkable for what they needed. If Tesla doesn't want anything to do with it I'd stay away from any company that's leaning into it for self driving. Thats just me though.

They have Ouster too which has similar tech and drone scanning. They merged with Velodyne LiDAR. It's about 4 to 5 of them with similar tech. They really need a combination of the cameras and LIDAR combined. Tesla argument assumes similar results as human instead of superior results so the cars really need combination of both technologies to surpass the human eye.
