Really appreciate the great review. I used to have s7 FE and the function of connecting to projector with samsung deX is quite important for me. I am glad to know that they unfortunately downgrade the usb-c port as 2.0 like what Apple has recently done... i do not understand this logic at all...

In fact, it looks like a very nice tablet. They gave a lot of options and it looks like it's definitely worth it. Although, it doesn't make me regret my purchase of the OnePlus pad.

Without video out for an external monitor, I think you'd be better off with a small 13-14 inch laptop. The lack of video out limits work options quite a lot, it remains not much more than a media consumption device, for which you can get a much cheaper tablet.

Nice review...but I think the processor Samsung chose is mediocre at best. At the very least they should have gone with the Exynos 2200 rather than the 1380.

I wished the S9 FE would have retained the S6 lite's 10.4 inch size. I currently have both and at first thought I would be sending the S9 FE back to Samsung and keeping the Tab S6 lite 128gb because my very first user experience with this S9 FE ended up with me writ8ng which I quite often do. I think all the initial downloading and initial set up was still in the process and I had a massive nightmare lagging writing experience that was so bad that, I had totally boxed the S9 FE back up. Ultimately I ended up giving it one more try and thats when I realized that it was actually just fine and that it indeed was the better overall tablet than the Tab S6 lite 2022. The situation I have now is that I already had Tab S8 and so now I have two totally identical same size tablets. This S9 FE after my trade only ended up costing me $75. Id rather have the Tab S9 Ultra but Im about to get a new flagship phone so the Ultra was a little too expensive all thoughIm still considering it. Great review!

I just ordered it! I will use it in addition to my convertible hp laptop for uni, some games and watching Videos. I'm an average user and don't need the most powerful and largest device of all time, so it seems to be perfect, especially because I'll get the book cover for free. :D I ordered the 12GB RAM and 256 GB version btw.

I'm always skeptical about other chip set that are not snapdragon but this exynos chip seems to be decent based on reviews on this tablet and on the a54

I would really appreciate a "9FE (+ or not) VS s8+"
As I'm really torn between the two at the moment honestly
I'm a disabled student on a bit of a tight budget and saving up for a good new tab (coming from the tab s6 lite 2020). I'm mainly looking for good s-pen functionality for note-taking etc and bigger size screen (the ultra is too big for me).

Great review. Do you have a MHL to HDMi adapter? The older Tab S6 Lite could mirror the screen with that to external monitors.
