I am from Parma. Yes, cows in Parma are little angels. But for real, even in Italy, there is a distinction between Parmigiano and Grana Padano. Parmigiano can be made only in a small territory around Parma and Reggio and has specific requirements that you should Google. There is also some sort of action going on as Parmigiano is DOP and Parmesan basically confuses consumers abroad regarding what Parmigiano actually is. It is seen as basically the food version of a counterfeit designer piece of clothing. By the way, I really like your channel.

As an italian I'm not saying our's are necessarily better, but why oh why! americans always trying to mimick other things? Starts your own variety of cheeses that in time will became tradition, not some bullshit like "6 italian cheese molded together" ;)

The thing is you can see the crystals in the Italian cheese, it's full of them, meaning it's very aged, potentially 24 months or more even. American parmesan isn't even aged for 6 months. Of course it's like night and day.

There are some world class cheeses made in America, but they tend to be "artisan" small batch cheeses made by speciality cheesemakers. Factory made cheese is vile the world over.

My in-laws came over from Italy when they were children and stayed in touch with family back in Italy. They used to get Italian care packages with cheese. Nothing compares to having an Italian mother in law she fed me till I was about to bust. I miss her greatly.

This spray cheese thing is so so so weird! I've never been to the US and I don't have any parameters to judge this, but feels strange to me lol. I'm surprised this is the one Eva likes the most, plot twist INDEED, hahaha! You guys should do a video about pesto alla genovese! Is that common in the US? I'd love to see Eva's reactions to it.
