Somebody PLEASE send them 5000 Carl Gustavs. They could obliterate that entire 40km convoy in a single 10min coordinated assault and then fade away minutes; too little time for the Russians to call in close air support.
Urban warfare as per the old doctrine only seems to benefit the resistance. Instead it concentrates defensive targets into an area where they can be destroyed by remotely-directed area interdiction weaponry.
