Oddly enough I could see red flags from the very beginning but perhaps because I was going though divorce, was vulnerable and emotionally unstable I completely let my guards down and allowed demon to control me. 2 years of toxicity, 5 years of no contact and I’m still affected by the covert narcissist presence in my head. My wife is a narcissist. Been married 17yr. The way to have some control. Is to remind them daily their opinion doesn’t matter and they are not relevant. Sounds mean, however it works. It takes the control they think they have away. Also if you have picked up on the manipulation tactics they use. And this is funny, you can text it to them or tell them verbally. They will still use them regardless, thinking it works.😂. They have low self esteem, so they manipulate you to gain something. Keep their self esteem low, you can keep the upper hand. Yes they will play the feel sorry for me game, and that’s what it is a game. I’ve learned.

The first date was like an interview. He remembered to take another woman to a renaissance festival and celebrate Easter! Two of my favorite things to do. Of course their happiness was posted on Facebook for me to see. It was clear he was using her to make me jealous. I wasn’t, because I understood how sad his life must be and I made the decision after five weeks of inappropriate behavior and words to go away. This experience and another of 17 years in a career with a narcissistic manager; leaves a wound that will not heal. It separates us from “the world.” Best to live a life without narcissists. I have been a victim of these people. Lots of them from strangers I dont know to people I know. So I'll feel nothing and give nothing.
I understand why I felt so crappy around some people. I didnt know these energy vampires existed before year 2018. Now I know why i have memory loss and depletion and fatigue.
