Apple left out many important details from their September 7th event, so let's break down some of the biggest iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max features that you need to know about! Here's a breakdown of changes to the camera, screen, dynamic island, and more!

To be clear, 17.1% CPU and 28% GPU improvements are actually fantastic.
If you follow the quality of processors as a whole, that's actually a significant leap, not to mention a faster CPU typically means it has the potential to idle at lower voltages.
Knowing Apple, if they were smart, they would capitalize on the ability to do that, greatly increasing efficiency.

Thanks to Verizon offering me a $700 trade-in allowance on my 12 Pro Max, I upgraded from a 12 Pro Max to a 14 Pro Max. The first thing I noticed on the 14 is that functions, like moving from screen to screen or opening apps, seem quicker. One item I do like is the ability to show the battery percentage on the main screen without having to pull the screen down.

I don’t really understand the dynamic island … I’ve got the 14 Pro and often listen to Spotify and use the occasional timer. It doesn’t seem THAT much better and I had just upgraded from iPhone 8. It is still easy to access music from control centre or by swiping down from the top on my old phone, same with the timer…
But I guess since I’m upgrading from an iPhone 8 I can’t complain. Just don’t know what the hype is about the dynamic island. Are there any other big features about it I’m missing?

As someone who uses iPhones, iPads and macs for work and own the 14 pro max it’s now a new experience it’s just different like the island is coo with Apple apps but waiting for developers. But pretty much feels like and iPhone

If you choose to use the always on display make sure to turn off the “raise to wake”. Don’t need it anymore because its on so you can see the time and everything Just slide up and it opens up. The raise to wake always would accidentally open my phone and cause problems anyways. So I personally like the always on display instead of the older raise to wake display Stay safe all.
