In the 60s we had a dog named Butch. My date picked me up at our front door and the dog started trying to lock my legs so I stomped my foot and loudl said "Butch get away." MY DATE QUICKLY JUMPED BACK and as soon as he did fthzt I apologized. My dates name was Butch. It was pretty embarrassing. LOL

I am a volunteer wildlife carer and someone took a baby magpie from the wild and tried to turn her into a pet and when they couldn't figure out how to do it they dumped her in the bin so we nick named her oscar after oscar the grouch and it stuck.
