Of course Drew likes Germany the most, his abuelo in Argentina grew up there and was a great electrician there

As a German, I would recommend Drew that you still travel to Hamburg, Cologne and Munich, so you might not see everything, but definitely the diversity of German cultures and architecture.

As a Belgian, seeing Belgium as an unvisited islands hurts 😭 plenty of stuff to see in Brussels and Bruges, plus our food and beer! Here's hoping you'll visit us someday!

Drew literally did the "trip to Europe" meme of only going to western Europe

If you're going to Poland, I recommend visiting not only Warsaw, but also Kraków and Gdańsk or Wrocław

As a Portuguese, I can tell you'll love Porto because you can see the main sights in a couple os days just by walking and the food is amazing. Guimarães is also a small hop away and is absolutely beautiful.
For Lisbon I would recommend a few more days and, if possible, pair with someone local because you shouldn't miss the surroundings cities (Óbidos, Sintra, Setúbal...)

I would really like to see Drew go to somewhere rural instead of only capital cities. It's like going to LA or NYC thinking that's the American experience. edit: thanks for the comments on my vids guys

As a Spaniard, I feel proud that he had the most fun in Spain (be grateful you weren't here in summer, peak temperature was 47ºC)

Drew you NEED to go to Transylvania. It is a perfect mix between east Europe, the Balkans and central Europe. If you want a unique experience I really recommend it.

for Germany I recommend the moselle/rhine area. It's a beautiful landscape, the towns mostly have half-timbered houses and there's like one castle every 500 meters

For the map, you should consider using one with the first order subdivisions (ISO 3166-2). If you're going to revisit countries in places you haven't been to before, you do need to be able to mark the country more accurately.

I would say it's important to travel during the right season and more than just the capital. And especially research a bit before what to do, to really be able to judge the experience.
Glad you enjoyed our weird part of the world

When you visit Vienna, Austria, I would recommend the first district. There you have many tourist shops, you can visit the old palace of the Habsburgs and the st. Stephens Cathedral.

I am German and it makes me really happy that you liked it here. There's really much too see here so I hope next time you'll visit it will be even better.

2 suggestions for Italy:

Toscana: you can stay in a hotel in a rural area and each day go to a different city: Florence, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa, etc. Each city is beautiful and has unique history.

Liguria: you can do the riviera ligure and travel across the coast, staying a bit in each town: La Spezia, Genova, Savona, Albenga, Imperia, Sanremo, Bordighera (the most beautiful city) and make it to Nice eventually, where you can take a train/plane and go to somewhere else.

Edit: for both these trips I recommend renting a car, thought you can use public transport, but it gives you less freedom to go to small cities

If you’re planning going back to Italy soon (winter) I would consider Milan, Bologna, Venice and then a mountainside village in South Tyrol (you would experience a totally different culture and the dolomites) If you’re planning goung back to Italy later (summer) I would really recommend Naples, Palermo, and then Sardinia and Cagliari. Meaning that your hotel’s in Cagliari, the capital, while during the day you visit the beaches (which are just a few hours away).
