The important MESOLITHIC site of STAR CARR

Star Carr is a Mesolithic site in England dating back more than 11,000 years. Sitting on the edge of a palaeolake, numerous artefacts have been found there. The more interesting finds include almost two hundred barbed points, a decorated pendant and carved antler headdresses.

Oyae, methinks i be 1st! now, if only i could be so at yer premieres😏 the quantity o' sites in Merry Olde England jus' keeps growin'! this be one i've ne'er heard of so, thanks be to ye fer keepin' us informed👍 i'll be fer lookin' into this Star Carr from whence came it's name?
