Building this racing sim setup was so much fun and it took way longer than I imagined, but it is definitely worth it!

That simagic base has been such a solid workhorse for a while now, haven't heard a bad thing about it. Nice setup.

I'd look into the dayton audio transducers. Probably the best bang for the buck. Once you have them working you will actively look for games with the capability.

You need to get the Sigma Cortex for PS4/ PS5 compatibility. It's great to see you getting into serious about sim racing.

Moving your monitor closer to you and adjusting your fov to match will help you greatly. Multi monitors or ultra wide as you mentioned will immerse you much further. Id have invested there before cockpits personally, but awesome rig so far! Love the helmet too :)

I enjoyed watching your video! I got into sim racing sometime last year and Rally racing (EA WRC) has been my favourite because of how dynamic the road on every stage can be, still learning AC Comp and trying to be more consistent with my driving there. ALL THE BEST! :)

Great love your setup! Fire! The seat is probably Alcantra material. Its a suede like material that they use on race seats as its durable, grippy, so you dont slide around, and stays prety cool in the heat. because of its suede like properties it does sometimes look a lil worn but its easy to brush off and look like new again.

I like how you combine it with an adjustable standing desk (your regular home office?..) as a monitor mount.

If you go ultra-wide, I’d still look into mounting it on your desk with a good swiveling monitor arm, which will allow it to move it in position for your rig. You can then still use the ultra-wide for regular desk use as well. At least that is what I would do, but you may have different plans. ;)

Going full Simagic in this price range isn’t a bad choice, btw. Enjoy!

This is an amazing video, haptic pedals does add an extra level of feeling to the gaming. Break pedals in racing cars varies with different categories. F1 is very high because the driver generates all the force without any assistance, but other categories like GT3 or RR does have assisted break systems so the pedals are softer. That being said, within the rules, drivers still have tension preferences and customise it how they like it.

Leather sits gets hot and sticky when you race for hours. Good set up... If I can change one thing, I will opt for a curved monitor, 21:9 aspect ratio. Adds to the immersion. See you on the tracks.

Excellent start. Race ACC extensively with my Nigerian flag proudly displayed! Try VR though. I have no need for a big monitor as VR is the most immersive experience for me. Situational awareness in VR is awesome vs monitor. Race with about 5 other Nigerians online. We mostly have the HP reverb G2 at the moment and it's beyond amazing in my opinion.
