Can you only bend in one direction and then move your object accordingly? I'm creating a coffee pot handle. It's long flat rectangle with divisions. Length direction is z. I'm trying to bend the ends downward. Nothing happens. Is the only way straight up like your example??? I bend in blender, Modo, houdini and can't bend shadows in Maya??? 🤔😟

Mine itn't really working. Like I want a mostly flat pannel bent to fit round a sphere. At the top it should look like a half circle and from the front veiw it should look like a square. When I do this it is just getting two corners of the cuboid and squishing them together.

i am curious, is it possible to "reverse bend" with Maya?
like we have bended object, then we use bend modifier with bended curve as starting point, then we make it straight instead.
