People in the comments blaming the Mom for bad parenting watched the video but didn't actually see what was going on. Clearly the mom was in a convo from earlier and turns away as the little girls starts playing on the piano. Then calmly pulls her daughter away and you can see she is probably explaining why it's rude for her to start playing on the piano. That is how a parent should act. Also, props to the pianist for his patience and understanding that's what kids do sometimes.

I'm proud of this man's patience, sometimes people don't understand kids aren't as developed mentally as us so when they see something cool they want to copy it. This in my opinion could be a great moment of love, kids often find their passion and inspiration from a moment like this where a person does something thats mesmerizing to them and inspires them to be like them. That's why imitation is the sincerest form of flattery when it comes to kids, I can't tell you how many kids try to copy me from all ages and sure their bluntness may be rude and they sometimes don't know to ask but they're learning and they just want to be like you. I think it was a sweet moment and instead of shutting kids out and telling them off we should embrace and use the moment as a lesson.

edit: the proper way to discipline a child isnt by yelling at them or laying a finger on them. just talk to them sternly and make them realize their actions arent okay AND make them take actions for their mistakes (ie clean up spilled juice if they are a toddler)…and take away their devices and give em a chore as a punishment as you see fit.

edit again: hallo. so there are some folks in the comments that i don’t quite agree with… im very passionate on the subject of child abuse, or what yall call *discipline*(jk not all discipline is child abuse) and the long term affects it can have on your child. no matter if your parents raised their hand at you once or almost daily, kids remember that. i’ve talked with so many other people who have been victims, i think around 10 now, and we’ve found that we would have had better relationships with our parents if they just talked to us, didn’t hit us, or yell at us. it doesn’t teach your kid to stop doing what ur doing half the time, maybe more, either. it just teaches them not to do shit in front of you. now if you don’t care then i can’t make you care. but i’ll damn well will explain and carry on.
