I'd never seen 3D printing in action before this, thanks for the laughs as well.

Great video and thanks for sharing the journey with us James. 29 times wow! Get the dedication and can only imagine the frustration and that’s how many times it took you being a tech savvy fella! 🙌

So fascinating and inspiring to witness this process. An artist finds himself through successive failure

Going over JT's older work. Poor man. Madder than a wet cat. Probably a blessing to mankind.

I totally respect the “tech saaviness” in others … the struggle is real for me, creative & artistic yes, but digital abilities, not so much. Great job James ❤

Uncontrollable jerking, that's the solution! 😆

I thought you needed to add support material for a min on that repeated fail. Jerk control worked thats amazing. Or slow way down. Good job solving it out. At some future point you will already posses an answer to a future problem for all that effort.

James did you ever make a full video of the 5/5 event ?

I've had the same issue at 3:30 with my 3d prints. The dude at microcenter told me that certain shapes paired with certain slicer settings aren't compatible with every stepper motor and they can overheat and skip a layer or wall. I hope this helps.

But did you have to RE- activate jerk-control for the remaining segments? And yeah- 29 times is a lot of times to try

Awesome idea - at least you have gotten great at 3 d printing precise molding (for a wall) and a plastic weave (wig)
