Can you share a link to all the make up air components you are using? The filter especially.

I am having my crawl space encapsulated this week. Deciding where to put the air handler dehumidifier piping into the house was a trick. We have a finished basement just to the side of the crawl space. So air blowing in one end of the basement then open vents at the other end for that air to get back to the crawl space.

Not rocket science but I have a ton of networking cable in the walls plus I spray foamed some of those walls 15 years ago.

I took pictures of all the walls and ceiling in the basement before the drywall went up. Made it much easier 15 years later not to hit stuff like electrical in the walls when cutting this week.

So you just said “ we know it’s 8” because we don’t want to Depressurize this house more than 5 pascals when running a 500 cfm exhaust fan “ but if that duct were attached to an air handler and you said you were gonna get 500cfm through it without a blower the size of a lawnmower I’d say you were crazy. So please elaborate. Where is that duct size coming from?

When I start producing my video series "Way To Go Stupid!", I'll show how on my not-so-tiny house I did not install make-up air behind the stove like I planned ("I'll get to that later"), so my make-up air duct is the chimney of my wood stove. So we live with a window cracked open.
