This song has enormous sentiment to my fiancé and I. Our story is SO much like this song.
-We dated from sophomore year of highschool until senior year of highschool
-He moved to Nashville for college
-We broke up for around 2 years
-God transformed our hearts during that time and we got back together the summer before junior year of college
-We fell in love long distance the second time around
-We're getting married June 2017 and want to include Inheritance in our wedding :)

Made sure this song was played at our daughter's wedding a couple years ago. My wife and were married 29 years by then. It was perfect, and even the photographer recognized the voice of Switchfoot.

Discovered this song sometime last year and I always come back to it... praying for such a pure and beautiful love as "Inheritance" describes. If ever I get married, God willing, I can't wait to sing this with that special man thirty years on!
