Some tips I have from a DD gunboat player, if you have good Torps, pre torp the cap. I cannot tell you how many DDs may spot me and 2 seconds later I catch them off guard with my previously thrown area denial Torps and dev strike them off the rip. Somers is especially good at this with 12 fast Torps. Also, in any ship, pay attention to splashes. Sometimes, a enemy ship gets hit by their own ships Torps and give away their DDs position or the fact that Torps are coming. See a smoke screen, fill it with Torps. RPF shows something around the corner? Torp the whole area. I get more kills catching people offguard with these techniques than I do trying to torp battleships or something in the back. Sound advice, matey. When it's DD versus DD, I always go straight to guns. If nothing else, there's always a fair chance I'll take out a key system immediately. If he isn't shooting back, this tells me that he is (probably) launching torps, therefore I need to do a major turn ASAP.

Also shoot the proper targets, I was spotting a Baltimore in open water, was pinging the thing multiple times. Meanwhile 4 bb on my team sitting together in one square. Not a single one of them shot at it. I can't push up and spot for the team until it's dead.

Man, I try to help people in games that clearly don't know what they are doing and 99.9% of the time they don't listen or they tell me "sHuT uP iTs JuSt A gAmE."

As a weekend baddie... Idk what the problem is. My shells just fall all around my target without hitting. I can stop shells in a perfect circle around an enemy, hitting water on all for sides.

Some days ago I was trying to explain the basic strategy of the game to a streamer that was keeping to fail division a tier V BB into tier VII matches and trying to convince me the basic of battleship play is pushing no regards to what you have against (if they are DDs, much better). Obviously he wasn’t getting good results. I think I’ll share this video with him, maybe he will change his idea looking at how you can pull out a 200k game being aware of the situation and timing your push smartly.

I'm the guy who play on weekends. Here is how it works. I have everything I need in my life, no need to prove yourself by winning games. So all I need - just get my cup of tea, relax in front of the monitor, scrolling instagram by one hand and do something in wows by second hand. Just talking to my dudes in the party, have fun and get happy when you are able to hit some one with a torpedos. No needs to be a nolifer cybersportsman 😉

RESPECT for your great video. Additionally, here's my take on a fix: There are always tons of new players. There are always new very YOUNG players. There are also people who play occasionally who actually have a family life and WOWS Legends isn't their highest priority. I ALSO get why veterans are legitimately frustrated. You want to apply your skill with a good team. Here's my fix: Change the 3 categories from what now exists: AI, QuickMatch and LIVE MATCH, to these 3: 1)AI stays the same. 2)Quickmatch changes to "Everybody" where you know what you're gettng. And 3) Changes to "VETS". With this, if you're playing in the VETS category and spudding it up, advanced players have every right to complain about sub-par play. With the middle category called "Everybody", you know what you're getting. Both advanced players and people learning can mix it up in a live game.
