2022 Animation Reel

I'm veryyyy late to the party, but I hope you guys enjoy looking at my 2022 animation summary!

Honestly it was nice to take a step back and just focus on some smaller stuff for a while. I feel like this was a pretty good year for my work, I got to complete a tonnnnn of stuff aside from the few sketch WIPs show in here, and even those I would have gotten to complete had my workplace not gotten ridiculously busy the last few months of the year haha. And keep in mind this reel is only to show my personal work, I'm a fulltime animator outside of what I do on Youtube and I probably animated around 20 minutes of content for my studio throughout the year, so it's a little crazy to think I managed to animate over a minute of stuff in my personal time too. I'm going to make a reel to showcase some of my studio work soon and then I'll probably make a proper demo reel later on this year haha.

I'm planning on bringing you guys a TON of big content this year, so I hope you guys are excited!

God Roseshards your art is absolutely stunning! And such a huge inspiration to so many people.

Your style is so genuinely soft, and somehow stays almost a comfort to people when they see it! It’s so comfortable and beautiful too! It works in your animations and art, it shines with such care and dedication that must’ve taken ages, love and lots of practice.

Your animations themselves are something fantastic as well, how beautifully you can convey emotions with just a simple change in expression, or even the lack of movement in a character is breathtaking. And your use of shapes and pacing is something that compliments your fantastic skills in your work! It’s so impressive how smoot and fluent your animations always are, while keeping that emotion and love people adore in your art!

Your colouring and lineart I would like to comment on as well! They keep such fantastic consistency that’s extremely difficult to achieve in most animations, and that’s something a lot of artists look up to! It’s a skill that is shown so beautifully in your art and animations!

Your backgrounds have such love and care painted into them, the closer you look the more details you can see that you’ve added to tie the whole scene together in such an impressive manor. The fact the background can speak so much to the emotion of your scenes is remarkable and extremely impressive.

You’ve improved so much, and I know your art will continue to grow! But I wanted to comment on how impressive the journey has been so far, and how your artworks have been developed into such a beautiful and moving pieces!
