Ingredients for Butter Garlic Egg Recipe:
(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)
Ingredients:
- Eggs - 8
For the Egg Mix:
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Pepper-1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli flakes-1/4 tsp
For the Butter Garlic Sauce:
- Garlic, fine chopped- (2 tsp) 7-8 cloves
- Salt-1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilli Flakes- 1 tsp
- Corn Flour - 1.5 tsp
- Italian Seasoning- 3/4 tsp
- Milk- 3/4 US cup
- Parsley, fine chopped- 2-3 tbsp
- Oil-2 tsp
- Butter - 5 tbsp (50 gms)
Preparation:
- Break the eggs into a bowl. Add all the other ingredients, mix and whisk.
- Peel and fine chop the garlic.
- Fine chop the parsley to be used for garnish later.
Process:
- For cooking the eggs, heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and then add 2 tbsp of butter. Keep the heat on low.
- Add the whisked egg mixture and allow the heat to come in for a minute. Don’t stir for a minute.
- Next, very slowly fold in the eggs. Shouldn’t be like scrambled eggs.
- Slowly fold it in to get big chunks of cooked eggs. You can break the big chunks into smaller ones . Cook for around 2-3 mins.
- Remove onto a plate.
To make the butter garlic sauce, again add 1tsp oil and then add 3 tbsp butter. Allow the heat to come and then add the fine chopped garlic.
Stir and sauté on medium low heat for around 1-2 mins and then add the pepper powder, chilli flakes and Italian seasoning.
Reduce heat and then add the corn flour. Stir and mix on low heat to not form lumps. Cook on low heat for 1 minute.
Continue to keep the heat on low and then add the milk. Also add the 1/2 tsp salt. Mix and cook on low heat for 1-2 mins till the sauce thickens.
Mix it well and cook the sauce.
Now add the cooked eggs and mix it well to not break the pieces.
Cook for 1-2 mins.
