Avatar Trailer!

James Cameron's given us a whole lot of big-name movies over the years, but his newest, Avatar, might be his biggest yet. Already, tickets for a free sneak preview were snatched up so fast online that servers were crashed.

When a paraplegic war veteran is taken to a distant planet, he's going to discover that there's a whole lot of bad blood between the humans who've moved there and the planet's indigenous life. But how bad can things get? Oh, you'll find out soon enough. Check out the trailer that everyone's been dying to see.

Now here's the interesting question--considering the amount of hype that this one has already brought into play, can it possibly live up to all that hype? It's been conifirmed that James Cameron will be directing the second & third Avatar Movies will begin making it after he and the screen writers & the cast together and get the budgets ready.
They'll be expecting to hit the screens about 3 yrs from now..yeah i know we'll have to wait til then folks, but it'll be worth the wait...i do hope they'll name the second movie "AVATAR: The Return to Pandora" or whatever cameron wants to named it.

This is one of the best films of the 2010 and this is one of best films of James Cameron ever directed..now making everyone wondering of will their be a second movie of avatar?
They make it this year or next year..but guess we'll wait and see if Cameron will direct the nexy one.
If there were i think it should be titled "AVATAR: Return to Pandora".

Just FYI--the first piece you hear on this trailer is NOT from Avatar. It appears nowhere in the movie, neither on the soundtrack.

It DOES appear on The Island directed by Michael Bay...at the end of the movie when all the clones are running out of the underground bunker.

Why use music for a movie trailer that's not from your movie?

Well, the music from Avatar is superb. It's not all the time when I watch a movie for the first time do I want the entire soundtrack.

James Horner did a fantastic job with sound affects and instrumentation in composing for this movie--getting across the dangerous beauty of Pandora as well as percussion and tribal instruments for the tribal peoples.

So it just blows my mind that with such a great soundtrack, why use music NOT from the movie to promote the film?

yeah I know, I saw that, everything was awesome in that movie, the graphics were good, the story was good, the characters were good the actors were good, it was awesome! I used to think underworld rise of the lycans was going to be my favorite movie but when I went to see avatar I knew that movie was going to be my favorite movie from here on out! And the avatar/novie girl was pretty hot, sorry but she is a very beautiful alien! anyways wanted to put my two bits in, peace!
