They might make for unlikely partners, but Olaf Scholz and Georgia Meloni seem to have found common ground on tackling migration. Chancellor Scholz, a centre-left Social Democrat welcomed Meloni in Berlin for talks. The Italian prime minister represents the far-right 'Brothers of Italy' party. But despite the smiles and handshakes some deep differences remain.

many don't know that Italy and Germany are more united economically than we think. they are the second and first manufacturing power in Europe and Italian and German companies need each other, more than France

All these steps are useless and won't solve anything! THEY MUST BE SENT BACK IN MASSES‼️

I find it very disturbing that these news outlets use the terms 'immigration', 'migration', 'illegal migration' and 'irregular migration' interchangeably. This problem will never be sorted until we all start using the correct terminology consistently.

If Germany needs workers, it would be much cheaper to set up schools in Africa for working professions, and german language, and invite people who finished those successfully. Germany could even give stipends, like 100 eur monthly. Its enough to survive in Africa, and less expensive than 500 euro, which they give in Germany.

Why is asylum rights more important than Europeans democracy?

Why is this such a big issue?? People are just playing dumb. It’s simple: if they’re coming from a non-EU country then they should adhere to the strict immigration laws. The same is true with all other nations. Problem is with people trying to take a shortcut. There are immigrants that go through the system whose names are being tarnished.
