Crab Bridge - Christmas Island

Intrepid diver Dr Ferny investigates how crabs now avoid being crushed under the wheels of cars - by making then using bridges.
What used to be a sad scene of flattened crabs, now becomes one of "how did they build that and how do they know where it is?"

I'm so happy they've built this. They are doing similar things for wild animals to cross freeways and such to. Animal Crossing are definitely needed more around the world

I just have a hard time thinking the crabs would be smart enough to use that instead of just running across the road 🤦‍♂️
