I'm particularly fond of that Dullahan. It looks like a really fun boss encounter. On the side of creep factor (though it's a pretty low CR), the Boneless is just freaking disturbing.

Evil cat monster: isn't that just a cat?

Gremishka, lmao dudes. My brewing brain went for the Swarmkeeper ranger circle of Sheppard druid combo. Lol summon these little cats, and turn them loose in a tavern or whatnot. Ofcorse take the lucky feat. For when they roll. Not the roll you want. Make them reroll. Lmao oh the high jinks.

After watching this video all the monsters talked about are awesome but I'm most excited for the dullahan, it feels like it was made to give heavy-hitting classes a run for their money.
I can just hear the eerie music playing as soon as a session comes into contact with a dullahan.

with all the content you guys put out about van richten, just how big is this book?!

All the ancient dragons ever want to get some of that Dullahan’s mythic attack action. A Dragon could sit on the pc halfling and that is just hit points and he may survive that but cut off that head and even the nastiest Yuan-ti Barbarian is out of there.

This book really is rivaling Wildemount in terms of content

The Gremishka and Bofytaker Plant are by far the most interesting monster on this list. Great video, looking forward to more.

I’m all about the Gallows Speaker personally, but for the flavor, not the statblock. PCs are supposed to enter a settlement for whatever reason, and instead of it being a thriving community as expected, it’s completely razed. Bodies are everywhere, with maybe a few zombies/skeletons/whatever to keep the PCs on high alert, and eventually this thing pops up out of nowhere and scares the poop out of everyone. It screams and babbles and does the whole ghost thing, but it doesn’t attack. It wants to tell its stories, but since it’s basically a swarm of ghosts all vying to be heard it can’t get them straight and communicate that without either considerable difficulty or using its suffering echoes ability—the latter would be easier, but causes damage. This allows for terrific roleplaying and immersion as the PCs try to get to the bottom of what happened to the settlement. DMs just have to be careful not to steamroll the players with long, drawn out descriptions of the various deaths of the inhabitants. It’s cool in movies but can be self-indulgent if you’re not careful

19:11 having a rune knight with a cloud rune would really piss off your dm at that point i think

Realized halfway through that I'm spoiling it for myself as a player, but as a DM I see some interesting possibilities.

Gremishkas are hillarious, yet I can see it being a properly difficult battle. especially if you have 4 of them vs a party of say 6 level 3's, they will be cocky enough to be like, "oh thats easy" then the dm can just smile and maniacally laugh

I’ve been working through your class videos for a while now and am trying to see any new videos you put out too. Massive fan at this point. Keep up the great work!

Oh wow, I'm currently in a party with nothing but spellcasters and I'm afraid that we might get TPKd by a cr 1/8 creature.

If i remember correctly, Dullahan is the original Celtic legend where a knight lost his head but carries on fighting.
