What is solipsism? David Charles McCarty

Traditionally, philosophers describe metaphysical solipsism in intuitive phenomenal and mentalistic terms, in terms of minds and their appearances. In this talk, solipsism takes the linguistic turn, and is formulated via a treatment of idiolectic language that is generally Russellian in form. In short, on this account, what exists for the solipsist is the values of certain variables within ‘it appears to me that’ contexts. This approach gives rise to a recognizable version of solipsism that resists familiar attempts, e.g., by Wittgenstein and by Putnam, to overturn it.

If solipsism existed then I wouldn’t have allowed so many YouTube adverts in this video

I had this as a kid a couple of times then it went away but the experience is much more positive for me in my 50s. This concept came back to me a few months ago during a mushroom trip. It wasn't a negative experience, it was as if there was a higher power putting me through a learning experience almost like my entire life was a simulation and because the mushrooms brought a lot of love and kindness out of me I thought the higher power was suggesting I was reaching another level of consciousness and getting prepared to move to a more enlightened dimension or parallel universe.

First of all the entire world doesn't come to an end in solipsism, the entire world in the mind of the solpisis does

Isn't this just a fact? Actually it's the only evidently true thing I can feel for sure it is THE one single fact. The rest I choose to believe.

I want my money back. Not the exact same pieces of paper but the same in numbers. of course you don't understand. And I don't either but there is just nothing and I cannot eat, drink, and everything else but sleep. You laugh you cry, I die.

Solipsism is crazy. You have to be god and job at the same time. There no point in existing if your the only one… wow you see? It leads to suicide. Even if living was a fake non real choice, I choose to live in all realities. Believe in Christ, who dies for your sin. You don’t have to carry the mental burden of being an all mighty creator in a human brain. God can deal with any thought. His thoughts are higher than mine we. His death on the cross freed me from sin and made me right with the Father. Plus you can’t have class. You’re everyone with no knowledge of it. It’s a mental trap of the enemy. Put this heavy mental burden down. Give it to Jesus.
