Yes! I thought for sure if they included this kind of vendor they'd be a roamer but as a static NPC this will change up how quickly people are able to get the legendary of they're favored weapon type(s) at least. The modifiers on the other hand...may take a while to get the preferred ones.

I found out about the vendor when i pretty much had every legendary with good rolls.

If you dont have stuff for onyx tears you can farm the top right level 77 boss on cooldown. He drops a legendary like 75% of the time and is super easy compared to styx. Thats how i got like 5 of each weapon

holy shit this is the best tip ive seen ever from any youtuber at all for gloomrot, this will fix my tier 2 problem of never getting a single greatsword shard, but like 15 different spears/axes/swords

i ended up testing this out with some spare onyx tears, you can get 1/2 decent 3 stat lego in 2-3 rolls but you are prollly better off just farming bosses for a day and saving onyx tear drops you get from bosses to craft your wep

Onyx tears are a rather costly resource so not sure if its worth spending them to RNG a shattered weapon. Each T3 boss drops a shattered so you could farm them with the group. The shard bearers drop 3 each time you kill them.

Onyx tears are cheap now because they changed the repair requirement for artifact weapons. Biggest tip for anyone is to get all servants and gear them to your gear. Then send for gold chains etc.

edit: repair for weapons get higher the more it breaks we found out.
